Porosha® is the story of a young girl orphaned in the brutality of the Odessa Pogroms of 1905 who sets on a journey with her family domovoi (house spirit) to seek the help of the legendary sorcerer Koschei the Deathless, in order to reunite with relatives halfway across the world.

Inspired by the journeys of my own great-grandparents, Porosha® is a passion project of mine. My goal is to retell my favorite fairy tales in a contemporary historical setting while also telling the stories of my people who are no longer living to tell it.
